Spent a night camping here before driving into Yellowstone. The campground is lightly used and quiet. The is a small stream running though the middle of the location. Fires are allowed if there are no bans in place. We enjoyed our night here and would stop again.
Historically, the Nez Perce headed along this place escaping the US Seventh Calvary.
