You be the judge...on vacation from California stopped in to have fills. manicurist looked at my nails and said "I cannot fill - too loose, will get fungus underneath." I said I thought it would be fine and that I would have my guy take them off when I get home in a week. We were on a brief stopover between Yellowstone trips. I insisted.... She was adamant. My nails looked awful, in bad need of fills..the woman next to me said I was being rude to the manicurist and that she( the manicurist) was only trying to help me(not get fungus?). So I said Ok do a total set. She started to remove them and it soon became obvious to both of us that the nails were not loose. She struggled to remove them. She'd clipped vertical chips from all nails on my right hand and had painfully peeled off two, then said to me " I cannot do this, I am shaking and scared". I'm on the verge of tears and she is scared. She only agreed to continue after I PLEADED with her not to leave them that way. What followed was the most painful pulling off process I have ever experienced in the 10+ years that I have worn acrylics.
This establishment is incredible. They are all so nice and always do a great job. They've always fixed anything that's gone wrong or if I haven't liked something. They are great people and always do their best to make people happy!
Anyone whose worn acrylics for a long time knows that you occasionally get a little fungus, you treat it, no big deal. I was willing to take the risk (upon myself) Then have my guy look at them when I got home.
This place is horrible. I bought a gift certificate from out of state for my moms birthday which is already over priced for a pedicure as is. she went there with a friend recently and they did an awful job. They did not clean her cuticles, she clipped her toenails and that was literally it. she let them know the service was not as expected and one lady demanded my mother tip her. I called them to ask for a refund due to the horrible service and price of the pedicure. the manager stated they don't do bad service and they don't refund then choose to hang up on me. great service....I think not. small town means minimal business in which they will never get ours or anyone else in the town we know.
You be the judge.
When I got back to our motor home I felt traumatized to the point of assault. What just happened to me?
In her defense, she did a good job, she used gel nail polish at no extra charge. The shop is (otherwise) pleasant and they seemed to have a good rapport with their regular clientele.
We love the friendly, clean and professional atmosphere here. They have always been wonderful with my mother and I. When my mother was on oxygen they helped her get in and out of the chair! They go above and beyond to help everyone! We have been coming here for 2 years now!
Amazing attention to detail, super friendly, and I am thankful to have them in Cody!!!! They are so good to my girls and always get is in!
