The server was really nice, helpful, and friendly. However I have a few issues they start you with pretzels which were rold goald. I normally wouldn't be too upset about this, but all the food on the dinner menu was $20 plus. So that confused me on what kind of restaurant they were trying to be. A nice 20 dollar entree restaurant or a fun place for a cheap bite. My other issue was the 30 minute wait for the food even though we were one of 3 tables in the place. The saving grace was the food that we did get it was real food that stuck to your ribs. Which is a nice change of pace after all typical travel food. The motto here seems to be come for the service staaayyy for the food...
Not that great. Extremely pricy for what you get. Atmosphere and decor plain and disappointing. Canned Pretzls as an appetizer? Really? Pork schnitzel was tough and chewy. Chicken not much better. Lacked any distinguishing German flavors.
We ate jagerscheitzel, warm potato salad and spatzel. It was all delicious. Service was good and prices reasonable. We recommend this place and would definitely come back if we are through Cody again.
Woundful meal, and a nice time talking with Chuck!! Great beer, but no bearenjager , Marilyn loved the Sambouco!!
Snitzel was over cooked and dry, brawts were no better than a Johnsonville package and they were over cooked. The glass of spiced wine was 9 dollars for about a 4 oz cup. The owner is active in the restaurant, speaking with him at our table he exclaimed and boasted about have a kitchen set up to bust out orders in 5 minutes, maybe that explains the over cooked dry food. I am a fan of German food and had such high hopes. Service was good but not so professional. She yelled across the restaurant about 6 tables to the owner to change an order for the customer that she was attending to. Interior is very nice and clean. Owner don't wear your glasses hanging from your polo shirt with buttons open all the way down with your chest hairs hanging out leaning over my food. A pleasant man but come on grab a clue.
