Wendy's would have tasted better. Had their hog burger, full of bone pieces and wasn't fully cooked. I'll never be back.
The food was fantastic! Stopped by one afternoon for lunch and really enjoyed everything about the experience. Staff was friendly and attentive, food was great, ambiance was inviting, etc. The one tiny drawback was that I didn't realize that reservations where pretty much necessary for dinner... even on a Thursday night!! Short of not being able to be seated when I returned for dinner that week, everything else was fantastic and I would highly recommend The Local if you are in Cody. Just remember to make reservations around dinner time!!
I am taking off two stars I prefer their lunch to their dinner service, and I think lunch is a better deal. The last time we went for dinner, our waitress messed up my husband's order and so we waited 15 more minutes for the correct order while my food just sat there. She didn't seem super apologetic either. I've typically had decent service here so I think she was an outlier. Anyway, portions are not tiny but not huge so this is probably not the place to hit if you are ravenous. That said, the food is absolutely amazing and this restaurant is a bright, refreshing spot in a generally meat ruled, right off-the-Sysco-truck town. Most if not all of their food is locally sourced and the menu changes with the season which is reassuring that someone actually cares how fresh things are. I recommend the succotash. It looks so boring but it tastes so, so good.
Amazing food and service! A great experience. They make truly unique meals.
Overpriced and not that great. $14 got a small portion of steak in a stale sliced roll you would find at Albertsons. 'Yam' chips were greasy and tasteless. I was surprised and very disappointed given the hype.
